Water Engineering and Management

College of Engineering & Applied Science - Boulder

An online class is delivered 100% electronically using the internet or other computer-based methods. The teaching is conducted from a remote location through an online course learning management system or other online or electronic tools. Students have access to the teacher and classmates synchronously, asynchronously, or both. Online classes typically are term-based, but some may be offered in a self-paced format.

The Water Engineering and Management certificate provides the skills and tools demanded by the rigors of the water profession. This program offers a comprehensive curriculum by world-class faculty from not only the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering; University of Colorado Denver’s School of Public Affairs; water utilities' executive and senior staff across the U.S.; consulting firms and global professional organizations; American Water Works Association members; and Water Environmental Federation officials
