Renewable and Sustainable Energy (RSE)

College of Engineering & Applied Science - Boulder

Format

Online

An online class is delivered 100% electronically using the internet or other computer-based methods. The teaching is conducted from a remote location through an online course learning management system or other online or electronic tools. Students have access to the teacher and classmates synchronously, asynchronously, or both. Online classes typically are term-based, but some may be offered in a self-paced format.

CU-Boulder’s professional certificate program provides an in-depth study of renewable and sustainable energy technologies, policies, and business – the cornerstones of this rapidly growing industry. With the knowledge this certificate provides, students, working professionals, and alternative energy practitioners will be well-equipped to begin or advance careers in renewable and sustainable energy.

How to Apply

Students need to apply directly through the School of Environment and Sustainability. When your application is received, our staff will contact you by email to let you know the status of your application. If your application is approved, we'll help you enroll in the required courses.
